Sponsor a star in stripes for 08-09 Friday
30 May
Newcastle Women’s football club will once again be playing in next seasons FA Women’s Premier League under the name of “Newcastle United Women’s football club”, this link is the first in the history of Newcastle United FC in allowing female players to compete under the world famous name.

The Women’s club, who have worked very hard to forge strong working partnerships with Newcastle City Council, University of Northumbria and Adidas UK, still needs to raise it’s own finance to cover pitch hire/training facilities and massive transport costs to away fixtures, sometimes as far away as London.

By giving companies/Individuals the opportunity to sponsor a player’s squad number for the full season at £100 per player (approx £3-50p per game) it will help towards ensuring that the club can continue to compete on the elite stage, and be in a position to offer local young players the opportunities that they may never have had access to without outside financial support.

Rob Atkin NUWFC Head coach "We need as much financial support as we can get if we are to realise our dream of moving up into the National league, £3-50p per game will go a long way in supporting our local performers in making the next step up to the highest level there is, for the £100 donation each sponsor gets their name on our website for the full 2008-09 season and a signed player photo"
